Robin is constantly experimenting with texture and methods of mark making within his prints.  The traditional linocut and wood engraving tools allow for beautifully fine and delicate lines but also brutal and broad gouges into the material. It is the balance between these that Robin likes to explore, incorporating fine washes of colour using oil based inks alongside the stark contrast of a wood block printed in dark velvety black.

All of Robin’s prints are printed using oil based inks on acid free archival paper using a Hopkinson & Cope cast iron press manufactured in 1854.
